The Center's staff members are all licensed and/or certified in their specialty. Therapists are specially trained to provide you with a wide range of healing approaches.
Mike Lingar, Psy.S., LLP
Mike Lingar has been at the Center since 2003. He has a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Psychology from Eastern Michigan University (EMU) and a Master's and Specialist Degree in Humanistic and Clinical Psychology from the Center for Humanistic Studies (CHS). He is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Clinical Psychology at the Michigan School of Professional Psychology in Farmington Hills.
Mike's expertise lies in addiction and recovery, boy's and men's issues, older adult issues, and Applied Sport Psychology. He also has extensive training and experience in psychological testing, custody and parenting time assessment, Health and Integral Psychology, Family and Couples Therapy, group work, and Existential Dream Analysis. His Doctoral Dissertation, The Experience of Being a Successful Applied Sport Psychologist, will include researcher participant interviews with leading Sport Psychologists from all over North America. He is also working on converting his Master's Thesis into a popular book, the working title being Integral Addiction & Recovery
