Victoria E. Rush, MA, LLP
Vicki counsels adult individuals and couples, and specializes in helping individuals wanting to improve self esteem, depression, sexual/physical/emotional abuse, and grief and loss issues. Vicki is a kink-aware professional and works with individuals who engage in alternative lifestyles, and with their partners, who sometimes struggle to understand and accept these behaviors. Vicki creates safe, supportive, loving relationships with her clients that are conducive to healing. She is skilled at helping clients to access, identify, and clear out painful emotions that are blocking their growth. She then takes a practical approach to helping her clients to make lasting change, by teaching new skills and thought patterns, and providing guidance for their integration into daily life. Her ultimate goal is to help her clients to take 100% personal responsibility for creating the lives they want. Vicki has been staffing weekend workshops (Taking It Lightly, Step into the Light, Renewal, and Bamboo Bridge) at the Center since 1997 and has helped many graduates of these programs continue the work they started during the courses. She is skilled in using both talk therapy and the experiential process/body work that is used during the workshops offered at the Center for Creative Living. Vicki is a member
of the Kairos Institute Board of Directors, and plans and facilitates
Kairos’ Friday Night at the Movies. She also occasionally co-facilitates
Wednesday evening Process Groups at the Center. |
