Tom Fitzpatrick, MA, LPC
Tom is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He holds a Master of Arts in Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University and has done post-master's study in Marriage and Family Counseling at Oakland University.
Tom provides counseling services to assist clients with personal development, situational adjustment, career planning, and communications and conflict management in relationships. He specializes in the areas of couples' counseling and and men's issues.
As Director of Divorce Recovery Services at the Center, Tom provides individual counseling and support groups for individuals who are struggling with the divorce process or its long term effects.
Tom presents lectures and workshops on a variety of topics including fathering, divorce, healing from infidelity, the transition to manhood, and creating and maintaining intimate relationships. Tom offersMaking Marriage Work, a workshop for couples, six to seven times each year. Tom has recently been featured in both the Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press regarding his successful private practice and his highly popular workshops and lectures.
