Healing the Wound:   A Weekend of Renewal

  April 16-18, 2010

Recovery from abuse begins with identification of the areas of our lives that are presenting us with challenges.

Experiences of depression, self-destructive behaviors, anxiety and tension, isolation, alienation, distrust, poor self-esteem and feelings of shame, transient or negative relationships, sexual dysfunction, anger and addictions are commonly spoken of by those who are shame-based.

Healing the Wound: A Weekend of Renewal will aid in discovering and healing the cycles of shame which often keep us from feeling our aliveness and joy.   We are dedicated to assisting you in creating an atmosphere of safety in which to explore any childhood or adult issues and traumas.   This weekend will guide you along the healing path to a new freedom and aliveness using techniques such as psychodrama, art therapy, breathwork and visualization.

Working through the issues of sexual, physical, or emotional abuse moves us into experiencing aliveness.   Through the recovery work, the trauma will lose its grip on you and the pain will diminish.   This is the very essence of recovery -- to reduce the inner pain to such an extent that it has no control over your adult life.

Come join us for this time of healing, connection, and renewal!

You will experience growth in your abilities to:

Let go of shame

Establish boundaries

Connect with your innocence

Nurture your inner child

Reclaim your personal power

Rediscover joy, enthusiasm and aliveness
